It’s Kyle. When I’m not playing in Real Friends I write spoken word poetry. I just recorded a new one. It would mean a lot to me if you took a listen and shared this for me. Hope it can open your mind to moving forward and seeing the positives in life, even when they are hard to see. Thanks everyone.
My ex literally lives around the corner from the old Star Flyer. I couldn’t help but think of him while listening to this. “Some people evolve constantly into better people, but I also see people turn from bright to dull…None of us wants to be those emotionless people that work a job that they hate and act like life is just us waiting to die. Those people never change, in a bad way. A sad way too.”
I’m the kind of person who becomes restless if there is no change. I change all the time. I’m not saying I’ve changed for the better because I’m more lonely than ever. I’m just trying to say I’m sorry. I’m sorry I couldn’t help you change. I’m sorry you’re still stuck in a rut. I’m sorry I couldn’t be dragged down anymore. I’m sorry.
I hope he can view this as a good thing and use Kyle’s words as encouragement.
